The easiest airport to fly into is Milano Malpensa Airport (MXP) From there, it is about a 45 minute drive to the Hotel.

To create a more connected and seamless experience for all of our guests, we kindly ask that everyone stay at Hotel Villa D'Este, for the dates of the wedding. All transportation will originate from this location, and a reserved and discounted room rate is available for your convenience! Should you choose alternative accommodations, please note that you will be responsible for arranging your own transportation to and from each event. In early October 2026, expect pleasant, crisp autumn weather on Lake Como with average daytime highs around 16-19°C (61-66°F) and cooler nights around 8-10°C (46-50°F)

All of the wedding weekend events will take place at the Hotel Villa D'este, apart from Friday's dinner on Wedding Eve. THURSDAY - Welcome Aperitivos will be held on the Platani Terrace. FRIDAY - The Celebration Dinner will be held at the restaurant, Il Gatto Nero, and guests staying at the hotel will be provided transportation. SATURDAY - The wedding ceremony will be held in the Mosaic Gardens at the hotel, with a grass surface. SUNDAY - Brunch will be held at the Grill Restaurant on property.

Mostly all events will be held outside on a pebble ground surface, or stone for your information regarding which shoes to wear. The Ceremony will be held in the Mosaic Gardens, with grass. And dinner on Wedding Eve will be held inside at Il Gatto Nero, a restaurant off property.

Sadly, your U.S. Dyson hair tools will not work in Italy — even with the correct converter. Italy runs on 220V, so for any other hair devices, be sure to check if they’re dual voltage before packing them. However, your hotel room will have a hairdryer available. Il Gatto Nero is about a 10 minute drive from the Hotel.

If your children are invited, their names will be listed on your invitation. If you don't see their names, we kindly ask that the celebration be an adults-only affair. Thank you for understanding, and we can't wait to celebrate together!
